Ginger Spring Onion Oil

COOK TIME: 5 mins

INGREDIENTS
¼ cup ginger, peeled and grated
⅓ cup spring onions, mostly fine chopped
¼ - ½ tsp of the sal
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
3 Tbsp organic coconut oil
¼ tsp ground white pepper (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Combine grated ginger, chopped spring onions and ¼ tsp of the salt in a heat proof bowl.
Heat a heavy bottom saucepan and heat 3 Tbsp of oil, insert a chopstick and when bubbles form around it, the oil is hot.
Once hot, pour over ginger mixture. Once cooled enough to taste, check for salt levels and add up to another ¼ tsp to reach desired taste.
Add white pepper, if desired.
